The Challenge
Create a brand identity that captures and sustains the energy of the current audience of creative communities, whilst making it more sophisticated and engaging. Supah Fan required a cohesive identity that could unify diverse creative outputs while standing out within a saturated events and social space.
The Solution
A bold, flexible identity system designed for
digital application. The brand leverages expressive typography, scalable assets, and social media integration to create recognition with users.
Typography
Instrument Sans has been chosen as the primary font. Instrument Sans creates a modern and minimal typographic system, where bold weights deliver impact and presence, while regular weights provide contrast and support clear visual hierarchy across content.
The creative process
Extensive logo exploration was undertaken through iterative sketching and form development, focusing on integrating the initials S and F into a bold, recognisable mark. Selected concepts were then refined digitally, followed by colour palette, typography, and social media system development to create a cohesive and scalable identity.
Colour palette
The colour palette balances bold contrast with understated neutrals, creating a system that feels energetic, contemporary, and highly adaptable across mediums. The use of red introduces intensity and movement, showcasing expressiveness, often rooted in music and contemporary creative culture.
Logo
The logomark distils multiple ideas into a single geometric form, combining the initials S and F with directional shapes that suggest momentum, energy, and progression. Sharp angular forms reference movement and intensity, creating a bold, recognisable symbol designed for strong application across digital and physical brand touchpoints.

The social media templates were designed to create a bold and recognisable digital presence, combining strong typographic hierarchy with high-contrast layouts and expressive imagery. The system uses a consistent grid structure, oversized typography, and the brand’s red, black, and neutral palette to maintain cohesion across varied content types.
